My research focuses on empirical operations management, with an emphasis on retail and service operations. I investigate how innovative service designs, interactions among product purchases, and firms' operational practices shape customer engagement, consumer demand, service quality, and business performance. To address these questions, I conduct randomized field experiments to identify the causal effects of managerial interventions and apply causal discovery to large-scale observational data to uncover potential causal relationships and influence pathways. My research aims to generate actionable insights that help firms make better operational decisions and improve business performance.
I am fortunate to be advised and supported by Professors Vishal Gaur, Bradley Staats, and Nur Kaynar in these research areas. Besides, I am grateful for the support of Professors Chris Forman and Saravanan Kesavan in my doctoral studies.
